12-12 Tie/Bridge Crane

The Kershaw 12-12 Tie Crane is a self-propelled, fully hydraulic, rail-mounted crane designed for handling cross ties. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 1200 lbs. (544 kg) at 24 ft. (7315 mm) from the center of the track. The upper deck and tie grapple are capable of 360° continuous rotation. The boom is fitted with a single tie grapple, basket grapple, or other grapple ordered. 

Recent enhancements to the machine include Tier IV engines, redesigned upper and lower decks, and enhancements to better accommodate hydraulic hosing, wiring, and hydrostatic propel. Hydraulic brakes and component locks are standard equipment, eliminating the need for a pneumatic system If desired, a pneumatic system is available as an option. Optional rail clamps, hydraulic tilting tie head and boom mounted winch turn this tie crane into a bridge crane.
